North Downs Golf Club – Update

The WPC are delighted that Get Golfing found a backer to purchase the parent company of North Downs Golf Club and now have a 25-year lease to run the Golf Club.

We are pleased to see that the heritage and history of the club can be maintained and that it will therefore be protected from inappropriate development. We were very happy to see the new owner withdraw the planning appeal for major development on the land and for Get Golfing to agree use the existing buildings on the land.

It is a win-win for the community and the greenbelt. We congratulate Get Golfing and welcome them to the Woldingham.
