The Vanguard Way Association AGM
The second Annual General Meeting of the Vanguard Way Association (followed by an optional walk) will take place at St Matthew’s Church, Croydon at 2.00 pm on Saturday 8 June. Affiliated members are welcome to attend and join the walk but will not be entitled to vote – unless you join the Association as an individual meanwhile of course!
Please let us know in advance:
– If you expect to attend (to help us prepare seating and refreshments);
– If you intend to take your car, as spaces are limited;
– If you intend to go to the pub after the walk (or wait for us there after leaving the walk early).
The Agenda is as follows:
- Chair’s welcome.
- Apologies for absence.
- Minutes from annual general meeting, 10 June 2023.
- Committee report.
- Election of Committee and Independent Examiner for 2024-25.
- Resolutions of which due notice has been received*.
- Any other business.
*Although the committee has submitted some resolutions for item 6 any members wishing to submit a further resolution please email it to secretary@vanguardway.org.uk no later than Sunday 19 May.
Refreshments will be provided before the meeting. It will be followed by a walk of up to six miles, led by our Secretary Gavin Fuller. from St Matthew’s to East Croydon station and a pub which does food.
